Feedback

Thank you to all of you who took the time to complete a parent survey sent out at the start of term. We received more than 90 responses and have looked carefully at the comments made. If you would still like to give your feedback please get a copy of the form from reception. Along with some lovely, positive comments, common issues that need addressing were:

 

Behaviour Systems / Lunchtime issues

Þ New systems in place - Ready , Respectful, Safe and new reward systems.

Þ Staff training in September and December INSET time

Þ Lunchtime systems under review to be amended over autumn term 2 - more information to follow.

Range of clubs on offer

Þ We have introduced some new clubs available to children including; girls football, mixed football, dance, arts and crafts and gardening in addition to our regular clubs; dodgeball, musical theatre, kick boxing and drumming, plus a dance class for adults which starts Thursday 7th November.

Þ We have taster sessions for Lego and Spy club for children in years 1 and 2.

Þ We're starting before school clubs for table tennis and basket ball.

Þ We are looking for more children to join our DRUMMING group - If you’re interested, please let us know!

Range of visits and residentials

Þ Leadership are meeting to decide a set system for which year groups will go on a residential to balance costs put on families. More info to follow next term.

Þ Each year group has mapped out visits for the year so that all year groups get a broad range of experiences.

Effective and timely communications with families

Þ ParentMail is here. We've already started sending communications through this new systems and we'll soon be setting up an events calendar which will be relevant to your child(ren).
