Mrs. Beardah received some excellent letters of application from some of our Year 6 children last week, applying for the brand-new post of Head Boy, Head Girl and their respective Deputies. Everyone who took the time to apply did an impressive job and it was a tough choice, based on the level of detail written in their letters, matched to the job description. I am so proud to announce who these positions went to Daisy and Huw and their deputies will be Sofia and Ali… We know they will do an absolutely fantastic job in leading our school council of ‘Inclusion Ambassadors’, soon to be voted in by our Year 3-Year 6 classes. Keep your eye out for the great work from all of our new Pupil Leadership groups coming up this year.
We’d also like to make a special mention to Lilia who is our first Inclusion Ambassador – voted in by teachers after a brilliant effort in applying for Head Girl. It was a tough field of applicants and Lilia was so close! Her ideas put forward in her letter secured her an automatic place on our new school council of Inclusion Ambassadors, led by our Head Boy and Head Girl. Other Year 3 and Year 6 class will soon be voting for the other 7 positions we need…watch this space!
