OFFICIAL OPENING OF OUR NEW YEAR 1 OUTDOOR LEARNING SPACE!

Our Year 1 families will have already had the privilege of seeing a video and some photos of the official opening of a new and improved outdoor learning space for our Year 1 children. With the help of a special grant received at the end of last academic year, we have been able to invest in improving two outdoor spaces for our children - the Year 1 quad and the new and improved Multi-Sports pitch.
Work on the Y1 area was due to finish over October half-term but, as with all such projects, it over-ran and then needed some finishing touches and resources preparing towards the end of last term. We hoped to be able to invite our community in to see our grand opening but COVID scuppered our plans once again! We will continue to add to this great outdoor learning zone, as we move through this term, but here are some photos for you all to enjoy, along with an old photo taken of the exact, same space many years ago! Mrs Glover led on an official ribbon cutting event this week and our children absolutely loved exploring all the new learning zones out there!
One day, our community will be able to come in and see this space, along with our fabulous new library that we developed during the first lockdown, in real-life! We can't wait for that day to arrive!
