Thank Our Children campaign

The Lord-Lieutentant of Nottinghamshire, Sir John Peace, has launched a campaign to #ThankOurChildren.

We want to recognise the determination, resilience and motivation of children and young people, which is helping the National effort in succeeding together during the coronavirus outbreak.

He has produced a certificate which can be printed off and filled in for your child(ren) to recognise the effort they have put in, the way they are coping with having to stay at home and indoors and any other achievement they have made during lock-down.

Below is a video of the launch of the campaign and you can download the certificate to. We'd love to give every child one of these certificates, but with the current situation, it is impossible for us to make sure every child gets presented with one of these, so if you have a printer at home, please do print it off and write their name on it for them. If you could take a photo of them holding the certificate and post it in the comments on the facebook page, or email it to headteacher@walterhalls.nottingham.sch.uk or admin@walterhalls.nottingham.sch.uk, that would be lovely!
