We are pleased to say that our wrap-around child care has re-opened. However, due to Covid-19 guideline compliance, we are required to reduce the spaces that we can offer in both provisions, with children split into small groups and located in designated areas within the school setting.
There are some changes to the way you book, drop off and collect children from both After School and Breakfast Club, so please read the information below carefully before you book your child's place.
By submitting a booking request, you are agreeing to the measures that we are putting in place for each provision.
Breakfast Club (limited to 20 spaces)
Arrival at The Wells Road entrance only, at either 7.30 or 8am (please advise your drop off time on your booking)
This will be split into 2 groups, with 10 children in each group.
Group 1 - KS1 children (Reception/F2, Year 1 and Year 2)
Group 2 - KS2 children (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6)
After School Club (limited to 30 spaces)
Children will be collected from their classroom by the After School Club staff and will be taken to their designated group. Continued late collection may also put your child’s place at risk.
This will be split into 3 groups, with 10 children in each group.
Group 1 - Reception/F2, Y1 and Year 2 (collect from the main entrance gate on The Wells Road)
Group 2 - Y3 and Y4 (collect from the staff car park entrance on The Wells Road)
Group 3 - Y5 and Y6 (collect from the staff car park entrance on The Wells Road)
If you need assistance with locating these entrances, please call the office. The gate will be signposted as a collection point for easy identification.
Collection times at the end of the day should be specified on your booking request. The collection times are 4.30pm, 5.00pm, 5.30pm and 6.00pm. Collection after this time will be subject to a late collection fee of £10
We will contact all parents towards the end of each half term to open the booking window for the following half term. The bookings will be accepted on a first come/first served basis, therefore emails received will be processed in date/time order received. We cannot accept bookings by phone.
Successful booking requests will receive a booking confirmation by return email to confirm the amount due for payment, and details of how to pay. Payment must be received in advance of your child's start date for this half term.
We will open bookings for each half term towards the end of the previous half term. Once the booking window is closed, no additional bookings will be accepted and changes cannot be made. Any cancellations to bookings will still be charged. If your booking is not successful you will receive an email to advise you accordingly.
In your booking please specify which provision you require i.e. Breakfast Club or Afterschool club, and the day(s) you require each week. Please also include your child(ren)’s name and class. For After School Club, please also confirm the details of who will be collecting your child. An example booking is shown for your reference below:

Our After School and Breakfast Club facilities are available to all children* from Foundation up to and including Year 6 on a pre-booked basis.
We run a Breakfast Club every morning, during term time, from 7:30am – 8:40am. Please note children should not be dropped off at school before 7:30am and young children (i.e children below year 5) should be accompanied to breakfast club and not be left to make their own way from the school gate.
The After School Club is open every evening, during term time from 3.15pm - 6.00pm. We provide many activities for the children and make full use of the school field and play equipment (weather permitting). We provide a snack and drink at "tuck time"

Payment can be made via bank transfer or through the Tax Free Childcare Scheme details of which can be found on the Gov.uk website.
Please include child’s name and “BC” for Breakfast Club or “ASC” for After School Club in the payment reference.
