Tuesday 14th April - Make an ideas jar

Sometimes it's tricky to keep yourself entertained when you can't go out. Here's a little trick to help you think of something to do, whenever you feel like you need to fill some time.

Find a jar or any other small container. You can decorate it if you want, it's up to you. Then think of things you can do at home and write them on separate pieces of paper. Fold them up and put them in the jar, then if you need a bit of help thinking of something to do, just pick a piece out of the jar and do that! If you're struggling for ideas there are lots on the Home Learning and Wellbeing pages of the website. There are 2 images below with lots of ideas too!
It's a good idea to remind ourselves that it won't always be like this so you could have 2 jars, one for ideas and activities that you can do now and another for ideas and activities to do once we start to get back to normal. When you or a family member think of something you can't do now, but want to, you could put it in your "when this is over" jar.
